New Guidance On Entering The Surgery

Dear Patients

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the practice will now be implementing new guidance received from Welsh Government with immediate effect from Wednesday 1st February 2023.

From this date, patients will now only be able to physically enter the practice building between the hours of 08:30 and 18:00. The 30 minutes either side of the previous opening/closing times will now be used to support practice staff to set-up/close the practice more efficiently which will in turn mean we can provide more effective service delivery for our patients. These changes will allow more staff to be allocated to other areas such as telephony during the busiest times of the day and result in reduced waiting times for patient calls to be answered. This will mean that should you wish to come into the practice to speak to a receptionist face to face, book appointments at the desk or collect prescriptions, you will still be able to do so but only during these new opening times. 

This change will not, however, affect patients wishing to contact the practice by telephone as the practice will continue to answer the phones between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays).
